thanks to those that came along to the Derby gig a couple of weeks back. It was good to play some of the stuff from 're-unmelt my heart' as god intended..with drums and the new line-up it felt a lot more relaxed and a lot more proper than things have done for a long time. we have another gig in Nottingham on 29th May but that feels an age away..

i'm not sure where things are going to end up musically now, the whole frankie thing came from being down and sad about girls, my attempt to cheer myself up by slipping dick jokes in amongst the melancholia..

these days i feel pretty contented..still writing music but not really getting anywhere lyrically..so maybe the next album will be completely instrumental..we shall see. whatever it ends up like it will be recorded with a smile on my face
